Chabad of Uganda is a warm Jewish home in the heart of Africa — a place of prayer, learning, and belonging for Jewish travelers, expatriates, and the local community.
Here, at the edge of the Jewish world, prayers rise daily. Shabbat and holiday tables are lovingly prepared. Torah classes are taught. Jewish travelers, expatriates, and local community members find family, connection, and belonging. Inspired by the Rebbe’s vision of “You shall spread westward, eastward, northward and southward,” the mission continues to grow — reaching one more heart, one more soul, one more Jew in need of warmth and light.
